Alpin Herbs’ scented adventure officially began in 2013, when we at Longino learned about this exclusive project and convinced Thomas Spornberger to expand his production, create a dedicated brand and start marketing the seedlings to the best chefs in the restaurant world. The tradition of embellishing and completing dishes with edible flowers and herbs had already been around in Europe for many years – but in Italy it was late in establishing itself.

This is because many restaurants can count on their own gardens – a bit like is the case in France – or because Italians tend to think that the transport of a delicate product such as flowers is extremely complex to achieve. The merit of Alpin Herbs was to overcome the logistics difficulties and to distribute hundreds of varieties of aromatic herbs, wild leaf salads and edible flowers – always fresh!

Delivery within Italy takes no more than 4 days and a slightly longer 7 days in the rest of the world.

Alpin Herbs edible flowers and aromatic herbs are produced in the Alps of South Tyrol. The passion for rediscovering new and old flavors has led Alpin Herbs to offer an unparalleled assortment. All products are harvested by hand and packaged in a very short time, for a shelf life of just 10 days.
